The guy with the old-fashioned cook ensemble in my icon is actually rather short but I pretty much only figured that out by getting very bored and looking for the few bits of the movie he's in where they filmed him standing next to a bloke or standing next to the same bit of set a bloke stood next to in another shot. Usually he doesn't get put in the same shot as anything male because most guys are taller than him and they felt like not showing that. So he's almost always described as tall.. but he really isn't. Whenever anyone figures out he's actually kind of tiny. I always feel like punching the air with glee.
